In my opinion, the IBC would have to be the best presented replacement blades on the market. The Faces are very flat, they need little work to prepare the blade, they are hard and tough but not as tough as M2 so are easier to work. At 2.45mm thick in Bench Plane, they are nice and rigid without being too thick to fit in the average Stanley. The slot in the Bench Plane not too wide, causing too much lateral slop, as with other brands of replacement irons. J.D.
