TWWW Show - Canberra, Sept 2011
Sunday, September 04 2011 - 07:45

Sunny weather in Canberra this gave relief to the guys outside selling wood.

Susie and I have been pretty busy on the stand, glad we had the extra space as we had no trouble filling it with new stuff.
Our stand is not just about selling Planes and other Sharping related products but also demonstrations, information and advice.

The New Stanley Sweetheart Chisels attracted attention - CrV Sheffield Steel with socketed Hornbeam handles. Sets of 4 or 8 in a leather roll.

Price drop on the IBC A-2 Premium blades has made them more attractive.  New WoodRiver Small Chisel and Side Rebate Planes are popular - great new additions to the range.

Rob Cosman Saws are also impressive - the Dovetail saw with fine kerf, aggressive cut but leaving a fine finish.

Great to catch up with everyone in Canberra.

Take Care and Stay Sharp,
Jim

Veritas Honing and registration gear
Hi Jim

The Veritas jigs and rests that I got from you are incredible, I have been using relic jigs and home made bits and pieces for far too long, The MKII gear is so easy to use, it not only sets the proper angle every time, it centres it in the jig and sets it square, quality is very good and so easy to use, more room on my bench now I can toss all that old gear , thank you, Stephen
